To-Do Tuesday, September 12, 2023

Another week flies by! I’m tired, fought a headache all day yesterday, lingering into today. Hoping for more rest and recuperation.

How was your week? Here’s what I did accomplish in my little quilting world.

To-Do Tuesday, September 5, 2023

  1. Baby Twin Quilts!  ✔️  Tops sandwiched and ready to quilt.
  2. Stitch Week 13 Twilight Star QAL  ✗ Oops Didn’t get to it this week.
  3. Piece the 4 FPP blocks together. Quilt if there is time.  ✔️ Completed!
  4. Friday, quilting with friends. ✔️ Fun day.

1. Baby quilt tops are pieced.

Keeping it simple. Minky in the center for a fun texture quilt. I’ll start quilting today!

2. Week 13 Twilight Star Blocks – Oops! This didn’t happen.

3. FPP did happen -

This foundation paper piecing was a class in the Aurifil Thread Lab for month 2. 18″ square. Quilted with Aurifil  50#  Tula Pink Neon Orange, Variegated Light Spring Green, and Grass Green. Fabric is Wild Blossoms by Robin Pickens for Moda and Moda Grunge.

4. Friday quilting with friends

I stitched up this small table topper using Krista Moser’s 60 degree ruler and the instructions that came with the ruler. Fabric by Moda, a Honey Bun 1 1/2″ wide strips, Seashore Drive by Sherri & Chelsi.

That’s it for this week.

I had a headache a couple of days last week, and it certainly does affect your sewing time. I like the FPP project you did–very nice!

Lots of fun eye candy this week. I’m totally impressed with the table topper. Amazing.
