Stitching Merrily Along
Stitcher’s Garden Block No. 7. Twin needle stitching in background.
Stitcher’s Garden Block No. 8. More twin needle stitching in background and pintuck foot used in center of flower.
Close up of pintucks. I used two different colors of thread, and the lighter thread is showing up better.
Stitcher’s Garden using Batiks Classes at Fabrics and Friends Quilt Shop, Roanoke, IN held the third Tuesday and third Thursday of each month.

Hello Sharon. So you must be nearby. I live in Huntington. LOL I followed you here through Judy L at Patchwork Times. Since it is too cold today where my sewing room is located, I am working/playing on the computer. I especially like the first block. So whimsical.

Great blocks! The stitching adds so much to the already beautiful flowers.

Hi Sharon! Thanks for dropping by my blog today … and just fyi, I had picked the CQ heart — I wanted to have something I could hand stitch on tomorrow while I’m babysitting my granddaughter! Your blocks are gorgeous — I love the stitching around the applique edges!!!
