Rails, Logs, and Curves
Rail Fence quilt blocks using Jenny Pedigo’s Quick Curve Ruler.
Log Cabin using Jenny’s curve technique. Love it! Does the corner curve count as a Drunkard’s Path variation? It is the closest thing I have to a Drunkard’s Path this week.
Progress on the Black and White Drunkard’s Path – none! I am still stumped as to what to do about that quilt! Please give me your honest opinion, do you like the white sashing? For me, it just seems too bright. I tried replacing it with a black, but that didn’t work either. (no picture with the black) Hmmm. Maybe the black would work as sashing between the blocks, with the white in the blocks? I think I’ll give that a try. I’m open to suggestions!

I’m visiting after reading your comment on Field Trips in Fiber’s DP quilt-along. I do like the white sashing on the B&W quilt, especially with the little pop of color in the cornerstones. I really like the log cabin variation! If you’re unsure about the B&W quilt, put it away until after the holidays and look at it with fresh eyes. It makes a big difference. Thanks for listening (reading?) my two cents’ worth.

I agree with Tina. I like the white sashing and I love your idea for black sashing between those blocks or maybe even gray or lime! I think you’ve got a good thing going here.

You really have some beautiful blocks going on! Love the curved rail fence and the curved log cabins, as well as the b&w blocks. I do like the white sashing, but I can’t tell if what you have laid out is a uniform width white strip or if it’s just the angle of the photo. The upper left area looks like a narrower white strip and I like that look. Anyway, have fun experimenting!

You do such fun things with your rulers. I usually buy them and there they sit! LOL
