Aw, I bet he just loves it. It's so fun to give quilts to the littles--they get so much happiness out of them! Great applique work!

That train quilt is big! Your grandson is adorable. Oh my gosh that anniversary quilt! My eyes are bugging out looking at it. I love the vine going over the sashing. May I ask which anniversary they are celebrating? I've never thought about making my kids an anniversary quilt, but it's a great idea.

Love the picture of your grandson with his train quilt - so cute! The anniversary quilt is just gorgeous, too. I keep thinking you're done, but then see that you're adding more! It will be just amazing when all complete.

Hi Sharon! Wow, the quilt is coming along so nicely. I thought once the appliqué was finished you were done - I didn't know about the 228 clam shells. Wowee! I love seeing the photo of your grandson pointing out the different cars on the train. It definitely is a special quilt for a special boy filled with lots and lots of love. Thanks for linking up today. ~smile~ Roseanne

You need a lot of days when it is too cold or wet to venture out and get those clamshells in order. Freezer paper is the way to go, and the quilt is looking stunning.
