You are SO much faster at appliqué than I am – and it isn’t because I haven’t done a ton of it. I’m just slow at that and hand embroidery. It’s a good thing I like both. =)

Your appliqué is just stunning, Sharon! This post reminds me that I need to pin baste some more leaves to a block so I have something to needle turn while watching TV. But my project is fall colors that are NOT where my heart is right now, so I’m coveting your Spring blues and greens… Maybe I should have multiple appliqué projects going to work on in different seasons — but then I’d never finish ANY of them!

Hi Sharon! Wow, those little itty bitty buds are small but they really make the piece come to life. I’ll bet those are fun to buttonhole.
