Oh, your African Violet looks so pretty. I used to share that passion with my sister and haven't had any since she passed away. Makes me want to try them on my own! Your Happy Little Things blocks look great. I love the layout you shared with the blue sashing - the little orange spot looks just like a cornerstone. How about a piano key border which would purposely use scraps of fabrics? They could even be different widths of keys.
