What a huge bummer! Although, I can guarantee you that it saved you A LOT of money. We stopped by one time on our way through MO and I intended on spending maybe $25 to get some fabric just so I could say I did. One hour and $300 later... Yeah. LOL!! I saw a youtube video on that method of cutting about a year ago and it changed everything for me! I should get the book though, as it looks like a fantastic resource. Thank you for sharing the link!
