Hi Sharon! Oh, your mystery quilt is coming along nicely considering you just started playing along only a week ago. Of course, as I mentioned, I adore the fabrics you selected for this - and Grunge stars?!! I didn't even know or see them - how did they sneak by me. You did a great job on that baby quilt. I so agree with you on the corner stones making it MUCH easier to align the rows. I'm had a dickens of a time with the scant quarter seam allowance - I have an Elna which is a sister/cousin (?? something like that) to the Janome. I have the same feet, I suspect - but I haven't tried to one with the metal flange. Thanks for mentioning that tip - I'll give it a try. ~smile~ Roseanne

I like using corner stones for the same reason!! I love how your blocks are turning out. Super glad you found that scant 1/4". It sounds like it was a bear to figure out there for a while! And YAY for a new design wall! That is fantastic!!

I chuckled at your reason for liking cornerstones. Me, I like not using them because then it doesn't matter if the blocks don't come out exactly together. Very cute baby quilt.
