I saw that same blogpost and caved — using their “color” chart but substituting fabric from my stash, so lots of small scale mono-color prints and using a modified “drunkard’s path” block. Enjoying it and keeping up so far!! I like your idea for the hexagon! What size are you using?

A temperature quilt sound so much fun. If I hadn’t already way too many WIPs on my list. Maybe next year? I wish you the best of luck with your OMG! And the hexie idea sounds amazing.
